Sophie is an Art teacher based in Victoria.
Sophie studied Graphic Design at Swinburne University in Melbourne. After completing her studies, she did some work in the design field. Wanting to try something different and move away from working behind a desk, Sophie enrolled in Teaching at Melbourne University.
Sophie has worked as a Visual Arts and Visual Communication and Design for the last 6 years, and now lives to Ballarat with her husband, new baby boy Henry and Black Labrador Griffen.
Sophie created her vector art prints in spare time, wanting to add a pop of colour to her own bedroom (The Toucan being her first design) and loved the process of exploring with a simplistic minimalist design. Sophie's subjects include Animals, Australian Fauna and Pink Florals.
In October of this year, Sophie had her first child Henry. She displays her works on the walls in the nursery, loving how her prints bring a sense of life to the room.
Sophie has recently started her own Etsy store, called Wattle Threads. Wattle Threads are handmade all natural lavender scented heat packs.
